Sri Lanka’s first nuclear power plant could be built by 2032 – Atomic Energy Board

The Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board has said if all activities go as planned, the first nuclear power plant can be built in Sri Lanka by 2032 with Russian technical support.
The matter was revealed by the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board before a meeting of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Energy and Transport in Parliament.
