Sri Lankas Coronavirus cases tally at 93,128

The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in the country has risen to 93,128 following the detection of 211 patients yesterday.
Among yesterday’s cases 183 were identified as contacts of the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster.
Accordingly, the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster has increased to 88,290.
28 persons who arrived in the country recently from overseas also tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 2,856 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities.
Yesterday, 294 persons who recovered from COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals, raising the number of recoveries in the country to 89,701.
326 suspected COVID-19 cases are also under medical observation at present.
